Little Goose Boy

My youngest son

is different than all his older siblings.

Partly it is his personality.

Inside Yurt on July 2006
at Winchester Lake State Park.

He is much louder than the rest of them.

He is also always trying to chase them down and catch up to them.

But mostly it is that he is more aggressive, more outgoing, and more cognizant of how to work a crowd than they are.

It has made raising him a totally different challenge. Some how we have to figure out how to temper the personality without stifling it. Or in other words: not let him kill anyone, not kill him, and not die in the process.
It has been interesting.

His unique spirit has been abundantly present always.

He is in a hurry to catch up and accomplish everything that everyone else is doing.

He works really hard at everything he does.

And really enjoys himself.

And also throws a lot of things.

Hits more.

Gets rather messy.

Cries a lot.

And generally stirs things up.

Sometimes we get pretty frustrated with him, but we all agree--

he is rather cute.

Nearly all the pictures came from a family vacation in 2006 to the Idaho Panhandle. The Goose Boy was three years old.

  1. Oh, boy! I love that kid. He cracks me up. Every family needs at least one, I guess.
